Master Shinyu Gushi's Traditional Okinawan Martial Arts

This site commemorates Master Shinyu Gushi's 58 years of karate practice. The content of this site is dedicated to Master Gushi's style of Uechi Ryu Karate and Kobudo. Master Gushi trained directly with Master Kanei Uechi, Master Seiyu Shinjo, Master Saburo Uehara and Master Seiko Itokazu. Three of these masters were students of the Founder Kanbun Uechi.
